The roots of our passion for sports and collectibles go back generations. Growing up around the game, our founder was raised in a family deeply connected to athletics. One of the most meaningful pieces in our collection today is a vintage team photograph that features his father on the professional roster, playing against the Nation's best, an enduring reminder of the history, pride, and personal connection that make sports so powerful.

Like many collectors, the hobby started in childhood. Cards, memorabilia, and sports conversations were always part of life. But over the years, that passion evolved into something deeper: a serious commitment to collecting, understanding the market, and helping others build collections that truly matter.

While the SportsTreasures4U name is relatively new, the history behind it is firmly rooted in Texas sports culture and the great traditions of American athletics—from the Houston Astros and the Rockets to the Longhorns, and the legendary athletes who defined football, basketball and baseball across generations.
